The little neighbour's tragedy

This artwork is inspired by a newsstory's poetic title. The feature highlighted the difficulty for a small country to face a powerful neighbour. An assertion applicable both internationally and more prosaicly in our daily life. The video is in 16/9 format. The single video sequence represents two neighbours depicted during their daily routine departure for work. Symmetrically each of the two characters leaves their home to enter the exit corridor. In turn, each one of the two protagonists begins to shrink as he advances towards his neighbour. The massive body of the neighbour absorbed by his own troubles, doesn't pay attention to his small neighbour and crushes him without even realizing it.
